Delete your IOn Reclaim account and data
IOn Reclaim is published by The Ritz Plaza LLC, doing business as The IOn Project. Your data can live in two places: on your phone, and, if you signed in with Google and used Cloud Backup, in our cloud storage. Here is how to remove both.
Delete your account and cloud data (email)
Email privacy@theionproject.com with the subject "Delete my IOn Reclaim account", from the Google account you signed in with, or naming that account's email address. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. Within 30 days we will delete:
- your cloud backup: profile, journey and progress, daily logs, craving records and achievements;
- your free trial record;
- your sign-in account in Firebase Authentication, which Google removes from backup systems within 180 days.
We will reply to confirm when it is done.
Delete everything on your phone
- Open Android Settings, then Apps, then IOn Reclaim.
- Choose Storage, then Clear storage (or Clear data).
Uninstalling the app also removes this data. The in-app "Reset Progress" option does not remove everything, so use one of the steps above if you want it all gone, including saved AI coach conversations.
What is not deleted by this
- Your Google Play purchase or subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel billing. Cancel in the Google Play Store under Payments and subscriptions.
- AI coach messages already sent to Google's Gemini service, which Google handles under its own terms (see the privacy policy, section 5).
- Crash reports and usage analytics, which Firebase deletes after about 90 days and within our 14-month maximum respectively. Email us if you want help removing them sooner.
- Exported files you saved or shared.
Full details are in the IOn Reclaim privacy policy.
