We do not sell your personal information. Each app has its own privacy policy that lists exactly what it collects, why, and who processes it.
The IOn Project is a trade name of The Ritz Plaza LLC, a South Dakota limited liability company (330 S Main St, Winner, South Dakota 57580, USA). This page covers our website, theionproject.com, and links to the policy for each product. Where a product has its own policy, that policy is the one that applies to the product.
Product privacy policies
Sleep data stays on your phone and an account is optional. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, and the app uses Google Firebase for optional Google sign-in, crash reports and usage analytics. Read the IOn Sleep privacy policy or delete your account.
Quit data stays on your phone unless you choose cloud backup. AI coach messages are sent to Google's Gemini service to generate replies, and the app uses Google Firebase for optional Google sign-in, backup, crash reports and usage analytics. No ads. Your source code never leaves your machine. Purchases are handled by Polar as merchant of record. Read the IOnclad privacy policy.
IOn EmitIOn Emit runs on your Windows PC and talks to Google Play through the Google Play Developer API using your own credentials. When you use AI features such as generated descriptions, the text needed for that request is sent to Google's Gemini service. A dedicated IOn Emit privacy policy is in preparation; until it is published, email us with any question about IOn Emit and data.
When you run a scan, the URL you enter is sent to our scanning service, which fetches the publicly available site and related public data (such as DNS records) to build your report. No account is needed.
Product monitoring runs in your browser. Discord webhook URLs are stored in your browser's local storage only. License keys are verified through Gumroad, which handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
This website
- Analytics only with your consent. Google Analytics 4 loads only if you click "Allow analytics" in the banner. If you decline or ignore it, no Google Analytics code loads. When enabled, Google Analytics receives page views, device and browser information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and cookie identifiers. Your choice is saved in your browser; clear this site's data to choose again.
- Hosting. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
- Email. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and keep support emails no longer than 24 months.
- No ads, no tracking pixels. The website shows no ads and contains no advertising or social media tracking pixels.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. We offer these rights to everyone, wherever you live, and respond within 30 days. Product-specific steps, including account deletion, are in each product's policy.
Children's Privacy
Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will change the date above. Material changes to a product's data handling are also announced in that product's policy.
